Introducing Jordan Black

Staff-Parish Relations (SPR) is excited to introduce our new Director of Children's Ministries, Mrs. Jordan Black. Jordan's first day in the office was Tuesday, Sept 3. Her first Sunday will be Sept 8.

Jordan is thrilled to join the team at Chamblee First UMC. She is passionate about helping children develop a language of faith, and she can't wait to serve alongside the families and volunteers that make Chamblee First such a special place. Her two young children, Zack (8) and Thea (4), keep her and her husband Ezekiel busy, but she makes time to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, and opera.

Welcome to September, my favorite month and favorite season of the year. We’ve got the return of college football, the crisp taste of fall in the air, and the sounds of CMK students echoing up and down the Chamblee First hallways. I love September.

This month also means we’ve celebrated 60 days together as a congregation and pastor. As we reach this milestone, I'm pleased to share memorable moments, meaningful interactions, and the momentum we're gaining together.
