Altar Servers!

Please come to the  10:00 am Mass this Sunday for a special blessing and a special treat!

After Mass, join us on the patio for a super chocolate fountain, with strawberries, bananas, graham crackers, pretzels, marshmallows and more for dipping.   You will also have a chance at some great raffle prizes!  All who attend will receive a Burger King gift card, and raffle tickets for Amazon and Target Gift cards.

Thank you for your ministry over this past year!

Altar Server Appreciation

This Sunday at our 10 am Mass, our parish is recognizing the wonderful contribution our Altar Servers make to our parish's celebration of the Mass.  Please join me in thanking all of our Altar Servers for their dedication and service.

Students 5th Grade through Senior year of high school are welcome to become Altar Servers.  Please speak to me or Deacon Pat Casey if you are interested in being trained as an Altar Server.

As you know, serving at the altar is a wonderful privilege.  Pope Francis welcomed a gathering of Altar Servers at St. Peter's and told them, "The closer you are to the altar, the more you will remember to speak with Jesus in daily prayer; the more you will be nourished by the word and the body of the Lord, the better able you will be to go out to others, bringing them the gift that you have received, giving in turn with enthusiasm the joy you have received."

Let us pray for our Altar Servers that they will have the intimate encounter with the Lord that Pope Francis talks about; and that they will be filled with enthusiasm to share their faith with others.  May serving the Lord at Mass lead to a renewal of vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life!

God Bless,
