In A.D. 82, the Arch of Titus was constructed on the Via Sacra

as a remembrance of Rome's victory over the Judean rebel forces. It would appear the people of God lost. Maybe not!

The Apostle Paul records, "Thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal process and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere."

2 Corinthians 2:14.

St. Paul is as bold as we are! He takes a symbol of Roman arrogance and transitions it. Caesar is not the Lord of heaven and earth! We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus, the victor of Easter! Are we captivated by the news of the day,

or are we focused with life intensity upon the Good News of Jesus, who is the Living Christ?

Yes, we are inundated with daily information.

The Lord of Victory is writing a bigger story!

The Lord is writing a better story!

Milton Friedman, in 1982, drafted the text,

Capitalism and Freedom.

In his work, the Preface has the following assertion:

"When a crisis occurs, the actions taken depend

upon the ideas lying around."
