It is a disarming but simple question: "What do you want?" John the Baptizer told two of his disciples, Andrew and most likely, John or Philip, that Jesus is the Lamb of God, and suddenly they turned around and followed Jesus!
Jesus asked a targeted question, "What do you want?" The two were obviously seeking something, but what? Fame, power, forgiveness, grace, truth, adventure, or just an interesting way to be investigating for an afternoon? Seeking and following Jesus Christ first requires a confession of our
motivation and desires.
How will we respond if Jesus turned to us and asked, "What do you want?"
