The Delaware Racial Justice Collaborative will present a
Journey to Justice: A Path Forward
. The virtual forum will feature Delaware Attorney General Kathleen Jennings and discuss reducing racial disparities in the criminal justice system. The virtual forum takes place August 4, 2020
at 6 PM.
"The racial disparities illuminated by COVID-19 on communities of color and related brutality at the hands of police resulting in the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and many others, amplifies that we must all be in this together if we are to execute meaningful change. The Delaware Racial Justice Collaborative, along with our trusted partners, has been pursuing that end, leading to this conversation with Attorney General Kathleen Jennings and other panelists from the community. Change requires hard work and action and this is one more step to get us there," Says
