Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up

Before Student Orientation, please review the Traffic Flow Procedures for Student Drop-off/Pick-up and talk to your students about how pick-up will work for your family before the first day of school. The safety of your children is our top priority and we thank you for partnering with us to make our pick-up safe and support traffic flow.

If you have Archway Trivium K-5 students that you are transporting to/from campus along with your Trivium Prep students, you will drop-off/pick-up Prep students from the Archway traffic lanes. Please refer to the Archway Traffic Flow/Drop-off & Pick-up procedures for additional information that may apply to your family.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: When you reach the Prep Drop-off/Pick-up Zone on the south side of campus, please ONLY stop your car for drop-off/pick-up of students in the outer two lanes. ALWAYS leave the center lane clear for cars to exit campus, once they have picked up students. Students should remain in your vehicle along the west side of campus (by the front office), and wait until they reach the Prep Drop-off/Pick-up Zone on the south side to exit the vehicle.

Students being dropped of in the right-hand lane must use the crosswalk to reach the sidewalk. Please use caution at all times when entering/exiting campus.

All pre-ordered uniforms and bags will be shipped directly to the school and handed out to students during the first week of class.

P.E. Uniform FAQ

What is the dress code for P.E. shoes?

Scholars should wear appropriate socks and shoes.

  • Personal athletic shoes may be brought to school to be used ONLY in PE class. School uniform shoes that meet expectations below can also be worn for P.E.
  • Any type of personal athletic shoe (i.e., running, cross trainer, etc.) is best. However, bringing a separate pair of shoes is not required.
  • Shoes MUST have laces. No boots, dress shoes, or slip-ons of any kind are appropriate.
  • Personal athletic shoes used for P.E class can be any color but must be free of any inappropriate messages or pop culture references.
  • Socks should always be worn and should follow dress code.

What if my uniform doesn’t fit my child?

Every year we remind students that the P.E. uniform is not for fashion. A uniform that is slightly baggy or slightly small will work fine for the school year in most cases. We will have a limited supply of extra uniforms for necessary exchanges.

Youth Large is the smallest available, but my child needs smaller. What do I do?

In the past we've seen that YLG, while possibly baggy on the smallest of scholars, is the best fit for the whole year round. Remember, lots of growth can occur during 6th grade. There may be a limited quantity of smaller uniforms made available at the PSO Uniform Exchange from previous years.

I have an old uniform that is a different design, can we still use it?

Yes, any of the P.E. uniforms from previous years can be used. This year’s uniform is slightly different from previous years. All past and current uniforms will be acceptable.

Can I use spirit wear or personal items that look similar?

No, only the approved uniforms can be used for class.

I cannot afford this additional cost. What are my options?

Please reach out to Coach Sullenger (lsullenger@triviumprep.org) or Jodi Bradshaw (jbradshaw@triviumprep.org) for more assistance.

Action plans and medication consent forms must be renewed each school year. Please visit https://arizona.greatheartsamerica.org/academy-life/health-office/ for 2025-2026 documents to provide to your scholar's health care provider. All emergency medications must accompany an action plan. There will be an opportunity during Student Orientation to turn these in to the Health Office.

6th Grade Immunization Requirements

Parents of Rising 6th Graders:

Your child has had/or is about to have their 11th birthday, and we wanted to remind you of an important requirement in accordance with Arizona State Law (A.R.S 15-872). All students must provide proof of immunizations or a valid exemption to attend school.

It is mandatory for all students who turn 11 to receive the Meningococcal and Tdap immunizations. The Meningococcal vaccine protects against the meningitis bacteria, while the Tdap vaccine safeguards against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough).

Please schedule an appointment with your child's pediatrician during their 11th year and provide the school with an updated copy of their immunization record afterward. It's crucial to note that the State of Arizona has adjusted their compliance rules, and your child will not be compliant once they turn 12. If the school does not have proof of these immunizations or a valid exemption after your child turns 12, they will not be able to attend school per Arizona State Law.

Locks for Student Lockers

Every Trivium Prep student will be issued a combination lock for their locker. This lock remains at school and must be used by all students. Students will be given training on how to use a combination lock at Student Orientation along with time to practice. Locker combinations will be printed on their schedule that they will receive at Student Orientation. School-issued locks must be used; personal locks are prohibited.

Questions can be directed to the Student Deans (Mrs. Brinker, or Mr. Collins, Ms. Danckaert).
