In Asia, there is a highly marginalized, isolated, and poverty-stricken group of people called the "Chepangs." Most young people do not attend school, and this community does not interact much with other communities. Many girls are married by 14 and are pregnant with their first child before the age of 18.
We are blessed to have ministry workers in Asia who have hearts for this people group and have labored to bring the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this community. Although most of the Chepangs live in repeating cycles of poverty and hardship, the Good News is starting to break the chains and open eyes. Even in these remote areas, you can hear the hymns of God's praise.
