Joyce McFarlin Kowalowski 1932 - 2018

, (nee McFarlin), 86, passed away peacefully at her residence in Barberton, OH, on August 30, 2018.

Joyce was born in Sharon Center and was a Barberton resident most of her life.   She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, VFW Post 1066 Ladies Auxiliary, P.L.A.V Post 32 Ladies Auxiliary and the Barberton Active Adult Center.

Preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; and son-in-law, Joe Henke; and daughter-in-law, Mary Kowalewski.   She is survived by her daughter, Marie Henke; sons, Michael, Stanley (Joyce) and Anthony; grandchildren, Ryan and Justine Kowalewski; three great-grandchildren; and her best friend and faithful dog "Rocky."

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton.   Fr. Robert Jackson, celebrant.   Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Calling Hours Tuesday, September 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
