FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
Joyfully Catholic
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace...Romans 15:13
Dear ECC Directors and Principals,
Thanks again for your time on Monday preparing for the upcoming school year. I was so grateful to see each and every one of you. We appreciate every little thing you do to make our ECCs and schools places of joy and learning.
At our meeting, some of you asked for me to share the talking points regarding DEI and Catholic schools. I took the opportunity to share what we discussed on Monday with Bishop Johnston and he was very supportive of sharing our talking points with each of you. I know it is easy to be caught off guard by a parent or stakeholder and we find ourselves struggling to find the right words to respond. Our hope is this document will help you to clearly articulate our mission as Catholic ministries.
As always, we are here to support you. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything. We are praying for you and your school communities as we begin the new school year!
Convocation is an exciting day for our diocesan school teachers, administrators, and staff to come together. Bishop Johnston will be celebrating the mass. After mass, Fr. Tony from Knight Time Ministries will be presenting. You won't want to miss this day! Please dress appropriately.

What a fabulous year, last school year was, in bringing the Eucharistic Revival message to our diocesan schools with the presence of relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and Saint Manuel Gonzales Garcia, as well as the book, “5 Steps to Being a Saint”, given to the students as a gift from Bishop Johnston!
Here are some wonderful resources for children and adults that the Catholic Schools Office may wish to share with the principals and staff of our diocesan schools, continuing this “Eucharistic Amazement” as the National Eucharistic Revival has called it, throughout this year!
