October 2022 Club Update

Fall Season is winding down!

It's hard to believe we have only about 3-4 weeks left of fall play! Our U14 teams and under have had great success in league play this season. AND... many of our high school players are beginning tournament play in an effort to capture and win state titles. Best of luck to all of our high-school aged players in their post-season schedule. We look forward to seeing you back around Jr. Irish this winter during training.

As a reminder, if you have a high school player, please order your uniforms ASAP! You don't want to wait as we've experienced several supply chain issues this fall affecting uniform availability. You should have received an email with the ordering link. If not, reach out to Nick and he can resend it.

Also, keep an eye out for winter training details coming soon! With the closing of Soccer Zone, we will be in various locations around town. Several teams are playing in college Showcase tournaments in December so we'll be sure to communicate your team training information as soon as possible!

Let's finish our fall seasons strong. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us anytime!

Winter is Coming...

Nobody wants to talk about it but we all know that winter is coming and we need your help! As a reminder, every family is required to volunteer for 2 hours per player (4 hours max) as part of your committment to the club.

Preparing the fields for winter is easy and consists of taking down nets and moving goals for the winter months. With YOUR HELP help it will be fast! Please consider joining us and get your volunteer time out of the way before spring!

NOVEMBER 2 & 3 (if necessary)

4:30 PM - DARK

Barnaby's Fundraiser!

We know how amazingly competitive our teams are ON the field but get ready for a little team competition OFF the field!

More details coming soon but the team that raises the most money in this fundraiser will be rewarded.

Stay tuned!

We are *STILL* Hiring!

We need your help. We are a volunteer Board of Directors but have several paid positions in the club including coaches, facilities and more.

Know of a local, dependable college kid with Fridays available? Maybe a retired friend who wants to help the community and make a little money?

Jr. Irish is looking to fill these paid positions.

  • Field Manager - this job does NOT include mowing. Job responsibilities include regular field prep like painting the lines with a robot (you just oversee it), hanging field number signs and ensuring goals are game/practice ready along with some other miscellaneous tasks.

  • Coaches Jr Irish Soccer Club is always seeking to add coaches to it's coaching staff. We need full year coaches but if you are considering, why not try it out for one season? Jr. Irish is led by a full time Director of Coaching who is responsible for providing a fully licensed coaching staff. The club offers financial assistance to the coaching staff for opportunities to upgrade their licenses and attend professional development clinics. It is the goal of Jr Irish to have a staff in place with specific expertise in a certain age group for development purposes. Players will cycle through the coaching staff over time. If you or someone you know loves the game and wants to help train our athletes, now's the time!

Email doc@jririshsoccer.org if interested or for more information today!

We are SO grateful to the businesses listed below who are sponsoring fields. We are printing the field number flags and hope to have them out before the end of the season but if not, they will be out this spring.

It's going to be SO easy for families to find the correct field.

We appreciate your partnership!

  • Above All Chiropractor
  • American Classic Car Wash
  • First State Bank
  • HB Fuller
  • Kryder Kritter Hotel
  • Legacy Homes
  • Smoker Craft, Inc.

If you know of a business interested in sponsorship programs

We are always looking for ways to recognize business

partnerships in the community and promote locally!
