Friend,

This weekend was filled with preparation for the March 25th election to be the next Judge of Civil District Court, Division “B”. I was honored to have several opportunities to serve my community and talk with voters about my candidacy and experience on the bench. 

I announced several endorsements last week including Councilmember Joseph I. Giarrusso, III, Councilmember Lesli Harris, and Councilmember Freddie King. I am proud to announce that former Judge Edwin Lombard, who swore me in to serve as Judge of First City Court, has joined my list of endorsements. During the early years of my career, I worked as his law clerk as he served on Louisiana’s Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal. 

I conducted the swearing in of the Broadmoor Improvement Association board and celebrated with friends and colleagues at the Southern University Scholarship Endowment, the Legion of Mars Ball and the Good Apple Gala. 

It was a busy weekend honoring our community and our collective goals! I look forward to qualifying for Judge of Civil District Court, Division B on Wednesday, January 25th. 

The municipal primary election will be held on March 25, 2023.
