This newsletter provides updates on what is happening in the Judo community, including member stories, upcoming events & tournaments, technical information and Judo news. Here are some upcoming REGISTRATION DEADLINES:

November 30 - AGM registration deadline

November 30 - Nage-no Clinic registration deadline

November 30 - Black belt grading registration deadline - Judo Canada pre-approved candidates only

December 6 - Early Bird registraton deadline for the Winter Camp

December Grading

All Judo Canada pre approved candidates planning on attending the Grading Exams on December 4th must pre register with Judo BC so that we know how many candidates will be attending. Please click on the button below to register.

Black Belt Grading Exam

Nage-no Kata Clinic

The Nage-no clinic taking place on Saturday, December 3rd is open to all black belts candidates both technical stream and competitive stream. It's a requirement for competitive stream candidates that were pre approved by Judo Canada by the October 20th deadline and optional for all others. The cost of the clinic is $35. Kata Clinic

Looking for your Judo Canada Membership Card?

Judo Canada is no longer sending hard copies of the annual membership cards to the clubs. Instead members can download their Judo Canada card directly from Trackie. A link to each member's card is included in the confirmation email members received at the time of registration. Clubs can also find the link for each member by clicking on the head and shoulder icon next to the members name in Trackie.

We suggest that you save a digital copy of your membership card in your mobile phone so that you always have it with you.

Annual General Meeting & Board of Director Elections

The 2022 Judo BC Virtual Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors Elections will be held on Saturday, December 3rd via Zoom meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 2 pm and we expect the meeting to last approximately 30 minutes.

We kindly ask all Black Belt members pre-register for the AGM no later than November 30th by clicking on the button below so that we can ensure the online voting system is set up with all the voters (Judo BC Black Belt members) and any proxies they hold. Only pre-registered participants will be given the access codes to log into the virtual AGM.
