exclusive Julian Hipwood Polo Clinics!

 

The unique clinics were run by Hall of Famer and legendary polo player Julian Hipwood on April 21st & 22nd. He was assisted by our BG Polo Head Coach, Max Secunda. His ability to simplify and explain polo has made him a renowned teacher to high goal players and teams like Coca Cola, Enigma and Mount Brilliant.

 

Julian spent two full days working with clinic participants and BG Vero Beach Polo Club members, reviewing his personal approach to playing the game of polo, time was spent in the classroom and on foot, then stick and balling each day, and finally Julian pulled on his polo boots and joined in a practice - which according to Max Secunda was the best practice of the season!

 

With Julian's personal encouragement and support, the players had an opportunity to carry out what they had learned and work together as a unit on the field, with each player bringing out the best in their teammates.

 

A very inspiring two days at BG Vero Beach Polo and Equestrian,  and a huge thank you to our own head coach, Max Secunda and his very gracious and talented father, Mr. Julian Hipwood. We hope they will consider hosting another clinic next year! A couple of testimonials follow:
