In July, Canadian Food Focus hosted a two-and-a-half day mission for a group of food influencers from across Canada, including dietitians, chefs, food writers, educators and representatives from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Environmental and Climate Change Canada.
Ivy cares about building public trust in food and farming. She would like to raise awareness with the public and consumers, that we are growing healthy, safe food in our province while maintaining and protecting the land and doing our best to reduce our personal carbon footprint.
Each year, Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan works with a selection panel to recognize a person who strives to engage consumers about agriculture and helps farmers to build public trust in our province and beyond.
