Newly Elected Moderator
Rev. Arthur Ritter, Moderator
As your newly elected Moderator, I am humbled to serve in such an important position, following past Moderators who have done so much for the NACCC. I am also excited to serve, knowing that the next two years will present many opportunities for our Association and member churches. Thank you for your confidence in me!
I serve with great appreciation of our past. I grew up in a small Congregational church in Stanton, MI. I have ministered with Congregational churches for over 35 years, and have enjoyed the fellowship, wisdom, prayers, and support of many throughout the years. I also serve with an eye toward the future. Our current times and situations demand new ways of thinking and acting, and I am encouraged by many new ministries within our churches. I hope that we can be bold in our dreams and open to possibilities in our planning.
Contact me and members of our Leadership Team anytime with your thoughts and concerns.
Welcome Jodee Lord
At the recent NACCC Annual Meeting and Conference held in Wichita, KS, Jodee was nominated and approved by the delegates as Vice Moderator, and later elected Chair of the Board of Directors.

Jodee resides in Staten Island, NY and is a member of Oakwood Heights Community Church on Staten Island. She is actively involved in the life at Oakwood and its community, serving on the Board of Deacons, Church Council, Pastoral Search Committees, Board of Trustees, Church Choir, and food pantry volunteer. She has a deep dedication within the NACCC and was Chairperson of last year’s NACCC Executive Director Search Committee. Jodee is currently serving on various NACCC committees and task teams and has served as the Moderator of the NY/NJ Regional Association. She is a retired Preschool Director with a degree in Education and Psychology. Jodee and her husband Fred, of forty-five years, are the proud parents of Sarah and Julia.
As of this writing, the NACCC comprises 312 congregations and 28,715 church members. You hear from the Association in numerous ways throughout the year. We would like to know more about the strengths and needs of each church, your neighbors, and your hopes for the future. This month, our Executive Director, Ashley Cleere, will begin a listening tour and visit every NACCC church in three years. Watch your email for a letter from her requesting time with your congregation. Watch this space to learn more about NACCC churches: who they are, where they are, and how they live out the Congregational Way.
