Yesterday, our Futsal and Triathlon teams, and some Maccabi USA staff, joined one of our Team Doctors, Marc Backal to travel to Picora Larjas, a village in Huixquilican to work on the Vision Project. The Vision Project is an initiative that was started by Marc to provide glasses to those who are under-privileged. The team provided 120 scans, 40 glasses were given during that time, and 63 others will be made in the U.S. This was a great experience for our athletes to partake in, the community loved having our teams visit and the medical staff for providing everything - they are so thankful and we feel fortunate to have made such a positive impact on the community.
