- Driving through the parking lot, proceed under the school breezeway and drive behind the church, stopping by the south church/elevator entrance where the priest will be.
- Please stay in your car, with a mask fully covering your nose and mouth, waiting in prayer to receive the Eucharist.
- The priest will process from car to car, offering the Eucharist.
- After you receive the Eucharist you can pull over, parking your car in the parking lot, offering a prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of Jesus in the Eucharist.

- Sliced cheese – American, cheddar or Swiss;
- Individual packets of chips;
- Granola bars;
- Fruit – oranges, tangerines or apples;

We will purchase other items to complete the meal. Since the Parish Center will be closed, donations should be dropped off at Ellen Tierney’s home, 150 Norwich Court, Lake Bluff any time on Thursday, July 15 or before 3:00pm on Friday, July 16. If those times are not convenient, please contact Ellen to make alternate arrangements at (847) 295.4649 or ellenkelly@comcast.net.

Have you or do you know someone who is thinking about the annulment process? In the past, the process has been rather lengthy and mysterious. Thanks to Pope Francis the process has been simplified and is more friendly. Looking at the process as therapeutic, you will be pleasantly surprised at how helpful it is. If Deacon Bob can be of help in walking you or someone you know through the process and answer your questions, please email or call him. He is here to support you!

FROM AROUND THE ARCHDIOCESE
|
|
Father Tyler Raymond, a priest in the Archdiocese of Dubuque and 2019 alumnus of Mundelein Seminary, offered this month's reflection on Saint Joseph as a creatively courageous father. He draws on his experiences from his first two years of priestly ministry to discuss how God has given him the courage and creativity to shepherd his parishioners. Watch his reflection of YouTube HERE.
Each month during this Year of St. Joseph a guest speaker at USML/Mundelein offers reflections on aspects of Saint Joseph’s life and spiritual character, based on Pope Francis’ Patris Corde and the Litany of St. Joseph.

“He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick – no food, no sack, no money in their belts.” -------------------------------------------------------------------(MARK 6:8)
How different we are from the Apostles who took nothing when they ventured out to serve God. Today, we make our life’s journey more difficult because of all the material baggage that we drag along. When we really put God first in everything and put money and possessions second, we experience more freedom to joyfully serve God and others.
