NEW GIVING SITE

Dayspring's new online giving platform "Give Now" is live and accessible HERE and on our website.

  • Once you access the site for the first time, create an account by signing in using your email address. By creating an account, the site will maintain a history of your gifts for your reference.
  • Next enter the amount you would like to give and use the drop-down menu to find the ministry fund you wish to donate to.
  • Next, check your payment method preference. You can give directly from a checking or savings account (ACH), by credit or debit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express), or by PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
  • To cover the processing fee, leave the box checked. Or uncheck the box if you do not want to donate the fee (1% for ACH from your bank or 2.75% for card payments or PayPal, GooglePay or Apple Pay).
  • Click submit and your donation is complete! You will receive an email receipt of your donation.

If you have a recurring gift set up on the previous Vanco system, that donation schedule will be transferred to the new system and you will be contacted directly in the next couple weeks to approve the schedule and add your payment type preference. Please wait for that communication later this month.

For all questions regarding this new change you can email Nan or call the church office at 480-838-1446 and she will get in touch with you. Thank you for your patience in making this change. We hope you find this new system easy to use and a great tool to express your generosity!

PALESTINE BOOK STUDY - SUNDAY

Are you disturbed, angry, or confused by the situation in Gaza and the Middle East? We will read and study Decolonizing Palestine, the most recent book by Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, a Palestinian Lutheran pastor in Bethlehem, author, and peace-seeker who has spent his life working for justice and peace. Books are available for purchase on the church patio on Sunday mornings or by contacting the church office. Discussion sessions will be held at 9am in the Palo Verde Room on July 14 and 21. Dr. Raheb plans to join us via Zoom on July 21.

SUMMER CHOIR - SUNDAY

Do you love to sing? Have you always wanted to sing in the Dayspring Choir? Now’s a great time! Dayspring has a summer choir that sings in the 10:00 service approximately every other week. The choir meets at 9:30 the morning of the service (no weekday rehearsals). The choir sings again on July 14 and 28. Come join us! Email David for more information.

SEND A POSTCARD ON SUNDAY URGING SENATOR KELLY TO PROTECT CLIMATE ACTION

Visit the SAGE team table on Sunday to help us send a message to Senator Mark Kelly about the climate crisis and clean air. Congress made important investments in the climate crisis in 2022, and the Environmental Protection Agency is taking us further with new rules to reduce air pollution and greenhouse emissions. We’ll have postcards for the Senator that you can use to write a personal message asking him to protect the progress we’ve made (to be delivered next Monday). Look for the postcards in Fellowship Hall after worship.

CYBER SECURITY WEBINAR

The Desert Southwest Conference is hosting a webinar on July 16 at 4:30pm Phoenix time. Data privacy and security are critical issues for individuals and local churches. Criminals are continually working at breaking through security protocols that are in place to protect you and your church. Learn how to avoid being a victim.
