On this Sabbath, let us worship the Lord, who has shown us amazing and life-saving love in Jesus Christ! Lyrics for the hymn are provided in the description on the YouTube page.
Family, God’s Spirit gives us a constant source of mercy, comfort, and reconciliation. With confidence in the forgiveness that follows, let us confess to God where we have fallen short.
Pray aloud in unison with others who are gathered, both in body and spirit.
Lord, we confess that we do not take every opportunity to follow you. We become distracted by our own interests when you speak words of guidance. We remain silent instead of speaking your truth to the world. Too often, Lord, we contribute to the brokenness around us instead of building your Kingdom.
Forgive us when we refuse to listen to you. Forgive us when we do nothing instead of what you command us. Give us the wisdom to hear your Word and the courage to follow your Word!
Family, receive this Good News. Christ is Lord of the Sabbath and gives us a path to peace. Be at peace with God and one another, for in Christ, we are all forgiven!
If you would like to share a joy or prayer concern, please email Pastor Dan at and your request will be shared in next week’s worship packet. Prayer requests will remain for 3 weeks unless updated.

Godly Rest: Practicing Sabbath to Strengthen our Faith
What does it mean to practice Sabbath? For some, it’s the day we rest from work, go to church, or spend time with our families. But in the Bible, practicing the Sabbath is more than taking a breather from our daily routine. It’s an opportunity to focus on our relationship with God in order to grow closer to Christ and share his love with others. In this series, we will explore how practicing Sabbath not only allows us to rest in the Lord, but also gives us the means to strengthen our faith and follow Christ in our daily lives.
Old Testament Lesson: Proverbs 6:6-11
Gospel Lesson: Luke 6:1-11

Sermon: Doing Differently
As we continue to be the Body of Christ in the midst of the COVID crisis, we proclaim that nothing can separate us from God and one another! With that confidence, we give thanks for the gift of generosity that allows us to continue to follow Christ as a congregation through any season. With gratitude, let us return a portion of what God has given us. You can give by clicking the “give online” button or by mailing a check to our church office at:

Take a holy Sabbath and find a way to build God’s Kingdom. As we continue to embrace and share God’s love in this time, may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit guide and sustain us until the day Christ comes again. Amen!
We are going to begin offering an outdoor activity time for the children of our church on Sunday mornings at 10:30 just before the drive in worship service. This will be a time when I hope to engage the children with FUN social distancing games that reinforce the love of God and the need we all have for community. I want to reassure you as a parent that we will adhere to strict social distancing, in fact it will be embedded into every activity that we do TOGETHER, while teaching the children how to have fun safely in this new world where we face the realities of COVID-19.
All items that will be used will be sanitized before and after each use, and any cool snacks we offer will be individually packaged and wrapped (for example, a popsicle or small individual ice cream cup). We encourage everyone to wear a mask.
This will be a short (but very active!)meeting, 20-25 minutes, because we know the FL heat takes it out of us all! I hope you will consider joining us through the summer. At the close of our children's activity time, each vehicle will be given activity bags to keep everyone occupied if you then want to stay for the drive in worship, or you may choose to worship virtually at your convenience.
Drive-in Prayer Service: Join us today at 11am in the church parking lot for a brief service of music, scripture reading, and prayer. The live audio will be broadcast onto the radio, so all you have to do is park your car and tune in to 89.5 FM! An order for worship with instructions will be posted on our website or Click here to download and print the bulletin for this service .
