If you own land for the benefit of a corporation, trust or legal partnership, you must check if you need to file with the Land Owner Transparency Registry. Pre-existing reporting bodies who are required to file must do so before November 30, 2022.
The Land Owner Transparency Registry is a publicly searchable registry of information about beneficial ownership of land in British Columbia. Beneficial land owners are people who own or control land indirectly, such as through a corporation, partnership or trust. The registry is intended to end hidden ownership of land in B.C.

New and existing Richmond businesses can now apply, update and renew their licences online.
The City of Richmond launched a self-service portal called MyBusiness, part of the city's MyRichmond portal, to make the licensing process easier for owners without the need to travel to city hall starting July 11.
Business owners can access the portal by logging on to MyRichmond and identifying their licence needs, whether to apply for a new licence or to renew or modify an existing one.
The addition of MyBusiness to the MyRichmond portal is part of the city's digital strategy to make Richmond functions available online through a single system.
