“There's no such thing as a vote that doesn't matter.”
~ Barack Obama
It's National Disability Voter Registration Week!

Voters with disabilities are under-represented at the ballot box. It's time to get registered to vote.

"If people with disabilities voted at the same rate as people without disabilities who have the same demographic characteristics, there would be about 2.35 million more voters." (Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations)

Senate Action Needed on Developing A Fourth Coronavirus Package

  • In May, the House passed its fourth coronavirus package, the Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act (H.R.6800), with a vote of 208-199. The Senate will begin negotiations on their fourth coronavirus package when it returns from recess on July 20.

Contact your Senators and tell them to include the disability community in all relief bills. We are essential and our needs must be considered.
