Alert for Windstream Email Users
In recent weeks, Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has experienced difficulty in sending emails to Windstream email accounts, specifically if the emails have documents attached. KHC contacted Windstream regarding the issue. Our emails are being blocked as spam. All Windstream email users will need to work with Windstream to open up your spam filter. Here is a sample email that can be sent to Windstream support:

We are having an issue with our Windstream spam filter blocking legitimate messages from an organization we have always worked with. This issue has been sporadic in the past month, but as of late, is blocking most of their emails from reaching us. They have confirmed that their messages are being sent but are reporting the error below. Can we have their domain (@kyhousing.org) whitelisted so that their emails always reach us?

Below is an example of the error:

Health@Home Webinar Series - Summer/Fall 2020
The Health@Home webinar series consists of four webinars that provide affordable housing rehabilitation specialists and program managers with information on integrating healthy housing techniques into their rehabilitation projects and best practices from practitioners who have successfully implemented these techniques.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) developed a package of Health@Home guidelines that track the eight widely used Healthy Housing Principles plus an emerging ninth principle, Active Design. The guidelines translate these principles into workable property standards for local housing rehabilitation programs. Each webinar covers multiple Healthy Housing Principles and provides attendees with case studies or best practices on how to implement them.

To register for this webinar, follow  HUD's instructions for registering. (You must have a HUD Exchange account to register.) For more information, visit the  Health@Home website. If you have any questions, contact the Health@Home registrar at  communitycompasstraining@aecom.com.
SPM Committee Meeting
The System Performance Measures (SPM) committee created by the Kentucky Balance of State Continuum of Care (KY BoS CoC) Board has scheduled a meeting for 1:30 p.m. ET Tuesday, July 21, 2020. ESG CAPER Reports Due
It's that time again for the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) CAPER Reporting! If you receive ESG money from KHC, your ESG Report Contact person should have received an automated email from SAGE with the link(s) to upload each ESG component/project's CSV file.

When generating your ESG CAPER reports, please use the reporting period of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The deadline for agencies to submit their ESG CAPER report(s) in SAGE will be close of business today, Wednesday, July 15, 2020. This will allow KHC's Data and Reporting team time to review and request any necessary corrections before the final submission to HUD.

Prior to submitting your ESG CAPER reports, please check your data quality and correct any errors. If you need assistance with this, please submit a ticket to the Housing Contract Administration (HCA) Help Desk.

If needed, the ESG CAPER Report Training is available on the HCA Help Desk. If you have any questions throughout this process, please submit a Help Desk ticket or send an email to our Reporting team at KYHMISReporting@kyhousing.org.
