A Great Time Was Had by All!
|
|
Our Mid-Summer Party was all we hoped for and more. 200 members and friends were here for great food and fun, and we gave a warm welcome to our new Rector, Fr. Burl. The dunk tank was very popular (thanks to Paul Rosbolt, Fr. Matthew and Lauren for their willingness to be dunked multiple times) and the kids enjoyed the giant water slides, cornhole and sno-cones. Everyone loved the scrumptious tacos supplied by New Gourmet Delight, and the music by DJ Starchild, and our own Julie Tucker and Quintango. All in all, a perfect summer day for the opportunity to feast, frolic and reconnect with our TFCE family!

Hello from the Regathering Committee!
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our regathering survey! We had 88 respondents and received some valuable feedback. We have a team of people looking at and analyzing the data. Once we have done that, the Regathering Task Force, Staff, and Vestry will make plans accordingly. We will share some general observations after the analysis is complete. Please email me with any questions, concerns or suggestions.
Many Blessings!
Krista Gauthier
Chair, Regathering Task Force

The Little Free Food Pantry
On Fairfax Street near the church’s Thrift Shop is a small “take some food, leave some food” pantry (like the “little libraries” where people can take or leave a book). We are definitely seeing people use that pantry to supplement their groceries, and you can drop off non-perishable food items there at any time.
