The advance team arrived on July 2 to prepare for the July 5 arrival of our full delegation. Now the Games have ended and we return home a bag of medals and fantastic memories. We'd like to send a big thank you to the Mexican organizers for a wonderful event. Opening and Closing ceremonies, Special events, Competitions, as well as bringing the Mexican Jewish community to the CDI for all to experience as we came together as one people.
A special thank you to the Games Chair, Tonja Magerman and her Organizing Committee. To the coaches, medical staff, security, and managers for all their hard work. But most of all our USA athletes - you are the reason these Games exist. Seeing you all compete, exhibiting the finest sportsmanship at every event and winning as many medals as possible will be an experience you will remember for a lifetime.
