Spud and Others Available for Adoption from Shelter

Meet Spud. A strapping young lad with an inquisitive and determined personality. Spud is a 2-year-old, neutered male, miniature Dachshund/lab mix. He found his way to our Animal Shelter under unfortunate circumstances and has had a rough past.

The previous owners could not provide the life that this spunky little guy deserved and needed, so he is looking for a new forever home with a family that can devote as much time, attention, and love to him that he will surely give in return!

Spud is potty trained, does well with other dogs, and is very well behaved. He is always wearing a smile when he’s going outside for a leisurely walk and would really enjoy a home that has a fenced in back yard for him to run and play in! If you think you’d be a good match for Spud, please contact the Gloucester County Animal Control Department by calling (804) 693-5290 and ask to fill out an adoption application today!

Currently, there are several dogs here at the County Shelter waiting to be adopted, so if you’re looking for a new companion in your life, please consider one of the amazing dogs here in our County that are patiently waiting for a loving home! Dogs available for adoption at the Gloucester County Animal Control Shelter can be seen by clicking here.

Show the pups your support and share this post to help Spud and so many others find their new forever homes today!
