Hollywood Starlet & Denison Descendant
Louise Latimer (1913-1973)
Hollywood starlet, actress and fashion designer Louise Latimer was a Denison descendant. Louise was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 6, 1913. Although her movie career was brief (1934-1937), she appeared in a dozen films. Her accomplishments included acting opposite John Wayne in the 1937 film, California Straight Ahead. Volunteer Archivist
Kate Mozier-Tichy
Life-long Denison member Kate Mozier-Tichy has volunteered to help organize the Denison Homestead archives consisting of hundreds of historic documents and photographs.
Kate lives in Fairfield, CT. She has a BA degree in Military History from Southern New Hampshire University, a MLIS from Southern Connecticut State University and is currently finishing a post-master's certificate in Archives Management at Simmons University.
