Grass Valley Wildfire Preparedness, Vegetation Mitigation, and discussing the possibility of a General Tax to support those efforts are on the July 25th agenda. Council wants to hear from YOU on this important issue, so plan on attending!

Pepe and his wife Wendy are moving onto Mill Street (the former location of Old Town Cafe) and will be offering breakfast and lunch. We can't wait for their doors to open and for the community to welcome Pepe's Cafe to Mill Street!!  Pepe anticipates opening in July.

2023 Meeting Dates


Board of Directors Merchant Information Meetings: Held on the 2nd WEDNESDAY of each month at 9:00 am in City Council Chambers at City Hall. Hope to See you on August 9th!


Board of Directors Regular Board Meetings: Held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 9:15 am at GVDA offices located at 128 East Main Street.


Promotions / Events Committee: Co-Chairs Lillie Robertson and Alyssa Orellana

Works with the Event Coordinating Team to format, organize, and raise sponsorships for annual events.

  • The committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday at 10:00 am at the GVDA office at 128 East Main Street.

Economic Vitality: Chair, Joy Porter

The committee works with the Chair and Staff to coordinate outreach to the BID members, to strengthen investor relationships, and enhance the aesthetic environment of downtown.
