From Pastor Ben:
Hi Hope Family,
I am always grateful for those unexpected “God moments”. On Wednesday evenings this summer we have been gathering together for prayer. Yesterday (Wednesday) we divided into small groups and did a prayer walk that encompassed several blocks around the church. We specifically focused on praying for families in our community. The group that I was praying with had some great opportunities to pray with and encourage some of our neighbors. It was as if God had specifically orchestrated that we would come across these neighbors. I’m thankful for how God is at work as we continue to seek Him in prayer and walk the path He has determined for us.
This Sunday Pastor James Molstre will be our guest preacher. He will be sharing from 1 John 4:7-21. I know we will be encouraged as he shares with us from God’s Word.
Also this Sunday we have our Church Picnic right after our 2nd service. The picnic will begin around 11:45am. We will be serving tacos. I hope many can join us for some great food and a time of building community together as a church.
Finally, we have our monthly prayer and worship gathering on Sunday evening. We will meet at 6:30pm. If the weather is nice we will plan to meet outside under the big tree near the front entrance. Please join us for a time of worship and a time of coming before God’s throne of grace as we seek Him in prayer.
Looking forward to all God has in store for us this weekend!
