2019 Flood Recovery Website

As many across Illinois were battered by another round of storms yesterday, the Illinois School and Campus Safety Program would like to share information on the 2019 flood recovery website. The " 2019 Floods - Disaster Recovery Initiative " allows you to report damage and debris; view recovery resources such as housing, farm and agriculture resources, rebuilding information, etc.; view health and safety cleanup resources; get travel information; and more.

Additionally, " Flooding and Schools" provides schools districts with information on preventing, preparing for, mitigating, and recovering from floods.
Spots Still Available: Digital Threat Assessment Classes in Fairview Heights

There are spots still available in the Digital Threat Assessment and Advanced Digital Threat Assessments classes in Fairview Heights, and the registration deadline has been extended. The goal of the classes is to give attendees a stronger understanding of the current social media world, tools to be able to proactively identify student safety concerns, strategies for dealing with online situations as they arise, and a concrete understanding of how to find and curate relevant digital information as is typically represented in a real-life digital threat assessment data gathering scenario.
