Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary time
July 19, 2020
IMPORTANT UPDATES

Effective Monday, July 13, the new order issued by the County of Santa Clara expanded the maximum number of participants in outdoor gatherings to 60. All must wear a face covering and maintain a physical distance of at least six feet apart. The Diocese of San Jose and our parish will follow these guidelines. We have prepared the school courtyard for the Masses accordingly. At St. Martin's, we plan to seat individuals and households to sit at least 10 feet apart.

Sunday Masses will continue to be in the school courtyard at 8.30 AM, 9.30 AM and 10.30 AM. Starting this weekend, there will be 60 spots for each Mass. Mass sign ups are open 15 days ahead. You can sign up to attend Mass by CLICKING HERE

There will not be any sign ups for daily Mass inside the Church. However, we will continue to live-stream Masses from Monday to Friday at 10.00 AM without community presence.

Faith formation registration for Children’s Catechetical Ministry (CCM), First Holy Communion, Youth and Teen Confirmation, and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) are now open. Please visit the parish website for registration details.

Our elect and candidates who have been preparing for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion will be celebrating these sacraments on Sunday, July 19. We look forward to these celebrations. We congratulate them and thank their sponsors. The entire RCIA team who walked with them also deserves our appreciation and gratitude. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Celebration of First Holy Communion and Confirmation for children and youth will continue this weekend. Keeping in mind the safety and well being of all, we have spread out the celebrations over the next couple of weeks. We congratulate these children, their parents and sponsors.

Our regular monthly Food Distribution is this Friday, July 17. Our volunteer sorters have already prepackaged food boxes on Monday. We will serve our clients as they arrive, in drive-thru configuration between 3.00 PM-6.00 PM.
