Freedom In Christ Service

From The Pastor's Desk...
July is a month of travel - for many to the beach or mountains. But this year we get to have travels in faith!
-- at VBS, explore outer space and how God's love is deep and wide and vast
-- at coffee hour (starting July 11th, from 9:15-10:00 AM), explore some good food and discover connections with other Christian friends
-- in worship, including the 8:30 AM service starting on July 11th, we explore Mark Chapter 6 and the Bread of Life teachings in John 6
-- following our outer space VBS, we will have a star-themed Advent Family Night on July 24th, with pizza served at 5:45 PM
-- like the 3 Kings, we follow the star to the Christ. Christmas in July will have a special worship service. Do you have a friend who loves Christmas? Did you miss Christmas dinner in 2020? Come and worship!
Yet explorers rarely travel alone. We need God to go with us, and we want to invite others so they can explore their being and discover God's love for all. Of the 5 "travels" listed above, to which can you invite someone in your life?
Here is a link to a song about our explorations - to a familiar hymn tune! By Peter Mayer, it's called "Blue Boat Home." (To Listen, Click Here)
Peace,
"Many people mistake our work for our vocation. Our vocation
is the love of Jesus." - Mother Theresa
