We will collect non-perishable items for our neighbors through Tempe Community Action Agency this Sunday, July 23. TCAA is especially in need of bottled water and baby formula. Donations may be left on the benches at the front gate to be collected and delivered to TCAA following Sunday's services. If you're unable to bring food to donate, but would still like to contribute, please CLICK HERE to donate securely online. 

We host Family Promise, a temporary shelter for families seeking permanent housing, starting this Sunday. Volunteers are needed to set up, cook, entertain, spend the night, chaperone, and tear down/reset the rooms for the following Sunday. We have a particular need for overnight volunteers. Email Michelle or look for a table on the patio to sign up or ask questions. 

Parents of all youth in 7th-12th grades are invited to join us for a Parent Meeting on July 23, after the 10:00 service in Room 112. Youth are encouraged to help set up for Family Promise during the meeting time (meet in Room 111).

Love to sing? Always wanted to sing in the Dayspring Choir? Now’s a great time! Dayspring has a summer choir that will sing in the service on July 30, August 13, and August 27. The choir meets at 9:15 the morning of the service (no weekday rehearsals). Come join us! Email David for more information. 

We offer free choirs for children and youth on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year! Choir experience is one of the best ways for children to develop their voices. They learn proper vocal technique, pitch matching, musicality, and are given solo and theatre opportunities during the year. Rehearsals start the evening of August 2! Step-Up Sunday, the day children and youth advance a Sunday school grade and regular programming resumes, is August 6. Children's Sunday School and Youth Formation will both meet at 10:00 through Labor Day.

Youth in 7-12 grades and their parents are invited to our Kickoff Pool Party on August 6 at 4:30pm at the LaFave's House. Please email Julie to RSVP and for the address.

SAVE THE DATE! Our Labor Day All-Church Campout is on the books for Sept 1-4 at Hoyer Campground in Greer! Join us for fellowship, campfires, potlucks and FUN at a cool 8500 feet! Registration begins August 1, but you may preregister now (or ask questions) by emailing Carol.

The Staff Parish Relations Committee is accepting applications for this part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) position. HANDBELLS DIRECTOR

After 20 years of service to Dayspring, Julie Hackmann has stepped down as our Handbells Director. We will be acknowledging Julie’s service in the fall when the Handbells Choir returns.
