WSCA President Tony Parker CEC, ACE July 2015 Greetings Culinarians and Associates, I will make this a short message with everyone enjoying the great summer weather.
Appreciation BBQ
For those of us who attended the appreciation BBQ at Angle Lake, we were treated to an extraordinary meal. Chef Brandon and his staff at Lavish Roots created a menu that had exceptional flavor. The twenty four hour house brisket could not have been better. The pork belly brioche w/ blackberry was excellent. Not your traditional BBQ outing. The whole menu was excellent. We had fun playing some games and I learned that croquette is not a passive game but a cut throat one, as demonstrated to me by Michael Baldwin. Great game Michael. I would also like to thank Marks son for supplying the music for the BBQ. Great mix of tunes. Visit the
Member News page for pictures of the event.
