July 10: Jessica's Dedication Ceremony
Our 8th "Habi-Tech" house, built by students from Harford Technical High School, was delivered to its permanent Aberdeen location and the finishing touches have been completed. Now it's time for the Dedication Ceremony to hand the keys over to Jessica! Join us for light refreshments and an opportunity to tour Jessica's new home.
Things got a little creative during Women Build Week for this designated Women Build home. For the first time, local businesses and individuals were invited to create fundraising teams. They successfully raised $16,208 (of a $15K goal) with 92 volunteers! We were further blessed with a $15K donation from APGFCU (see story below). Join us for light refreshments and an opportunity to tour Donna's Joppa home.
The Aberdeen Federal Credit Union (APGFCU), a longtime sponsor of Habitat Susquehanna, recently presented the organization with a $20K donation. From that check, $15K went towards finishing the designated “Women Build” house (see story above). The remaining $5K will be going towards this year's Giving Tuesday.

Seeking Low- or Moderate-Income Board Members

Since we're a nonprofit helping low-income people in Harford and Cecil counties, we would like to invite low-to-moderate income* Harford or Cecil homeowners to be involved. Interested?
