Tauber Institute students are currently working hard across the U.S. and around the world to compile the results of their 2018 team projects. This year Tauber teams are tackling 30 challenging projects sponsored by 20 global firms.

Register for 2018 SPOTLIGHT!

Get ready for Tauber Institute 25th anniversary celebrations at 2018 SPOTLIGHT!  There are special anniversary events on Thursday, September 13, followed by the annual SPOTLIGHT! Team Project Showcase and Scholarship Competition on Friday, September 14, and the Tauber Tailgate outside the Big House on Saturday, September 15.

Now he is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on Product Development as part of the Strategy and Operations practice, working with Technology and Life Science clients.

Faculty Spotlight: Roman Kapucinski

Professor Roman Kapuscinski served for 8 years as  Tauber's Business Co-Director, is currently Chair of Technology and Operations at Ross, and is a favorite Tauber team project advisor. Roman's research focuses on supply chain management and intersection of operational aspects with marketing and finance. Recently his work extends to pricing in energy markets and the effect of customer behavior on operational decisions.

Featured abstract: a research team including former Tauber faculty advisors Eunshin Byon and Matthew Plumlee propose a new data-driven calibration approach for adjusting model parameters for wind turbine wake effects. These physical interactions among wind turbines are a significant factor in wind power system generation performance.
Tauber IAB news: welcome Mayo Clinic's Joe Dudas

Mayo Clinic Vice Chair Joe Dudas joins representatives of 30 of the world's top corporations as a representative on the Tauber Industry Advisory Board. As a Vice Chair at the Mayo Clinic, Joe Dudas is responsible for providing oversight and coordination of Mayo's Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives. He has over 30 years' experience in  healthcare, retail, IT outsourcing, and telecommunications.
"For me, business school has been an environment characterized by a heightened level of ambiguity and uncertainty. For the first time in years I didn't have a clearly defined job title or job description - so how was I to know what to do with myself?!?"

Makura Compton (MBA '19) is currently hard at work on his Tauber team project at Cummins. New MBA students can benefit from Makura's insightful thoughts on navigating the transition from professional to student life by following his simple 3-goal strategy for b-school success.
