HIMSS Washington Board & Election Updates
The incoming Board recently held a mini-retreat to kick off the new Chapter year. It was very exciting to hear the energy and ideas from this new team - the team is rejuvenated and expanded with tremendous energy to create great programs and broaden the reach of the chapter.

Our chapter is here to support you – whether you are new to healthcare or an industry veteran, a clinician, technologist, student, or one of the many other professionals who have an interest in improving healthcare by using technology and information.

We are a volunteer-run organization, and your input and participation are vital to our success! If you see a need, you can step up and help make something happen. Our agenda this year is filling with programs and events that I hope will continue to provide education and networking opportunities that you value. We listen closely to our members and strive to cover the topics you’re most interested in, featuring local, regional, and national speakers who provide insight and engage in conversations about the technology and trends that affect us all.

Watch our website , LinkedIn and Twitter feeds to keep abreast of what’s coming up. Take a minute to review our incoming Board and see some great new faces.

As your 2018-2019 Washington HIMSS Chapter President, it is truly an honor and pleasure to serve. I hope to see you at an upcoming event, and I look forward to continuing the exciting work of our Chapter.
