We thank our Olmsted Elementary students from this past school year for sharing their Encouraging Words this month. #webelieveinU

  • "Kids in my class ask me, 'Are you ok? How can I help?' My soccer coach tells me to ‘Fight through it’ and that’s what I do everywhere." - Shirake B
  • "Ms. Peterson says, You need help? I will help you.' Then I can do it.”-Shema
  • "The ISASP writing test was really hard and really long. Ms. Crowley said to 'Try your best and don’t give up.' So I did that and it was okay." -Chris
  • "When my students try to teach me new words in Kinyarwanda and I forget them over and over again… they just smile and sigh and say, 'Try again, please? One more time.' And then most of the time I remember." -Mrs. Kerr
  • When I moved to Olmsted I was so nervous. Kids in my class kept telling me “Never give up.” It helped me."-Jacques
