Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, Wednesday, August 14th at 5:30 pm Mass

Celebrated every year on August 15, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary commemorates the death of Mary and her bodily assumption into Heaven, before her body could begin to decay—a foretaste of our own bodily resurrection at the end of time. Because it signifies the Blessed Virgin's passing into eternal life, it is the most important of all Marian feasts as well as being a  Holy Day of Obligation .
Feast Day of Saint Bartholomew, Monday, August 26th at 8:00 am Mass

Saint Bartholomew was one of the twelve who were called to the apostolate by our blessed Lord Himself. We are celebrating the feast day of Saint Bartholomew on August 26th after 8:00 am Mass with a Potluck reception to follow.

Ministry Spotlight

This month's Ministry Spotlight is the Hospitality Ministry! Here at St. Bart’s, our little group is dedicated to helping create an environment that fosters fellowship and welcome among parishioners and visitors. Although most hospitality centers around food, we really see this as a ministry and not just a refreshment committee. We are blessed to have a large number of people who volunteer to host Coffee and Donut Sundays, and/or to provide sweet or savory treats! Please contact us if you are able to help in any of the above mentioned things. Thank you! For more information, please contact Sue Brenner by email at or Lois Pileri at
Eucharistic Adoration
All are invited to contemplate, to adore, and to pray to Jesus Christ before the Blessed Sacrament every first Friday of the month. Hours of exposition are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please sign-up on-line here.

“So you could not keep watch with me for one hour? (Matthew 26:40)”

How can we pray for you?
As a community, we need to keep each other's deepest needs and yearnings of our hearts in prayer. With this in mind, we'd like to invite our Parish members to make known those friends and loved ones for whom we should pray. You can submit your prayer request using the Google Form here.

A prayer for the Feast Day of our Patron Saint - Saint Bartholomew

Strengthen in us, O Lord, the faith, by which the blessed Apostle Bartholomew clung wholeheartedly to your Son, and grant that through the help of his prayers your Church may become for all the nations the sacrament of salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
