Council honors accreditation
At the June 24 City Council meeting, DEC was awarded a proclamation and recognized for achieving CALEA accreditation in May. Less than 2 percent of all emergency communications centers in the United States achieve accreditation.

Congratulations to Aishah Robinson , who correctly answered 4,300 for the size of the new Training Center in square feet. The answer could be found in the June newsletter, in the printed program for the event, in previous newsletters and on Flickr. Her entry was chosen at random from all valid entries, and she won her choice of either a wireless charging pad or a power bank as a prize.

July trivia contest
All employees who submit a correct answer by the deadline according to these instructions will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
