West Louisville Now
Building on the report of Trustees & Council’s working group in early 2020, the bishop announced on June 10, 2020 the creation of the West Louisville Now special appeal. The appeal will fund crucial repairs needed at two predominantly African-American West Louisville congregations—St. George’s and Our Merciful Saviour—so that they can continue their vital presence and services in West Louisville. Dismantling Racism for Youth: DEADLINE TONIGHT, 11:59 PM
All youth in grades (rising) 7-12 grade (and those who work with youth) are invited and encouraged to attend six sessions of Dismantling Racism. We will meet via zoom on July 14, 16, 21,23,28, and 30th from 5-6:30 pm EST.
This opportunity for young people is meant to serve as a connecting point on a journey of understanding race, racism in our culture, and our call as Christians in this world to"do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly" (Micah 6:8)
These conversations can and will be uncomfortable. We invite you to be uncomfortable in community. We invite you to join us where ever you are with your questions, concerns, and feelings. We will strive to create a safe space, but keep in mind safe does not mean easy. We will provide ongoing resources and support as needed, and these sessions will not be the end of our conversations or our responses.

Coping During Covid
You are cordially invited to join the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky Mental Health Resource Team for a webinar on maintaining emotional well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recognizing that the past months have taken a physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual toll on most of us, the Mental Health Resource Team is offering an opportunity to discuss with fellow Episcopalians current concerns, as well as the ongoing impact of the pandemic on you and your family

2021 Mission Funding: Deadline - July 31, 2020
The 2021 Mission Funding Applications are now available and a revised application deadline of July 31, 2020 has been announced. The applications and new deadline are offered with full recognition of the fluid and ever challenging realities of our COVID-19 response. The Budget Committee may not be able to communicate the funds available for Mission Funding until a much later time in the year. Also, given possible financial challenges there is anticipation that the amount for Mission Funding offered to the Committee this year may be reduced. Please know the Committee is committed to faithfully discerning request for funding, and working with each congregation and agency to assist as able in these trying times.

United Thank Offering 2021 Annual Grants: Two grant cycles offered - Application deadlines: August 14, 2020 and February 26, 2021
The United Thank Offering will accept applications in two categories, Sustaining Ministries and Innovative Ministries, at two different funding levels through two granting cycles. The criteria for each category are different. Applicants must demonstrate concisely how the project directly supports the recovery effort. Click

ECF Vestry Papers on Racial Justice and Reconciliation
In July and August, the ECF monthly publication Vestry Papers will showcase authors from around our Church, writing on the themes of racial justice, healing and reconciliation, and building Beloved Community as part of their work towards dismantling racism.
