JULY 2020
The Transition Network Philadelphia Chapter
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIR
Greetings!

The last few months have been difficult and turbulent. Each one of us has been challenged to consider and rethink many of our long-held beliefs. As TTN members, engaged in the world, we are heart-broken as we witness recent happenings which is why we scheduled an Anti-Racism event for July 23rd . Please click below to see how we can make a difference and continue reading this message!

CAN YOU SUM IT UP IN SIX WORDS?
We have all lived long exciting lives. Could you capture it all in a six-word memoir? Our peer group gave it a try.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! LINDA BARNESS AND HER 'PAY IT FORWARD' COOKIES
TTN member Linda Barness has taken her love for cooking to another level through her 'Pay it Forward' cookies. She bakes whimsical cookies in shapes such as toilet paper and masks. One day a week, she distributes two bags of cookies to each lucky person, encouraging the recipient to keep one satchel and give the second away, hoping only to get a photo of someone joyously eating her cookies in return.

GIVING CIRCLE: WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

YOU can help make our community better by joining other committed, enthusiastic and public-spirited individuals in pooling resources to truly make a difference in the lives of women and children in Philadelphia!

CHOOSE A CAUSE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
See what an impact you can have! There are  myriad ways  to bring positive effect to the Philadelphia community through volunteerism. All TTN members are encouraged to choose a cause, become involved and see what a difference it makes.

SIGs: WHAT'S NEW & SURVEY RESULTS
We surveyed SIG leads and gleaned interesting information! We also have some newly forming SIGs you may be captivated to join and we spotlight a creative SIG for those interested in travel.

What if 2020 isn't cancelled?
