Lakeside is having In-Person Worship Services Sunday's:
  • 9am (Solid Rock Cafe in the Chapel),
  • 10am (in the Main Worship Center and also online at Vimeo.com/lakesideag),
  • 11am (Lakeside's Drive-In Service in the South parking lot)
  • Children's Ministry and Nursery available on Sunday's 9am & 10am; and Wednesday's at 7pm.

We need Ushers, Hostesses, Greeters & Parking Attendants! if you can help in any of these areas, please contact Pastor Randy by texting him at 586-246-4749.

Rudi and Sharon Swanepoel are a dynamic ministry team. They have been in full-time ministry since 1989. Both are ordained with the Assemblies of God. Their ministry touches multiple of thousands of people each year from mega churches to a combined social media audience of over 15,000.

Rudi is a sought after preacher, teacher and leader with authentic, relevant and passionate insights into the Bible. He was a chaplain in the South African Army. He is a noted author and ministers the Word of God in a fresh and powerful way.

Sharon is a favorite speaker at State wide / District Women’s Conferences and retreats that draws large gatherings of people. She is an award winning musician, celebrated author of several books, and a sought after communicator.

The Lakeside Story is a Miracle Story! Birthed with just 11 people, today Lakeside impacts the World! Yet with great Vision, comes Mountains of Need. Consider how God has been moving Lakeside’s Mountains!

* Together, we have experienced a $210,000 Breakthrough providing the new furnishings and equipment for our new additions and Kids Ministry!
 
* Together, we have just conquered our $375,000 Mountain Need for the updating of our Chapel (completed) and Worship Center (in process)!
 
* Together, we have experienced a $2,766,414 Miracle! More than 48% of our newly constructed Ministry & Outreach Additions have been cash-funded!

Now Together, we have a Vision 2020 & Beyond Need. This Ministry & Outreach Need mainly includes: Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Adult Class, and Lobby improvements; along with Parking Lot Re-surfacing; and Mortgage Debt-Reduction - a $100,000 2020 Mountain Need. This goal is in line with what the membership approved at our annual business meeting last February, because God’s Vision for His People is a Mountain-Moving Vision! Jesus said mountains move when we speak to them by faith in God “...and nothing shall be impossible to you.” (Mt. 17:20) . Lakeside, Together let’s speak to our Mountain Need through the faithful giving of our Tithes (ministry needs) and Faith Promise Vision 2020 Offerings (improvement needs).

Drive-In Service Features - 11am:

  • Car Canopy Preaching - Pastor Phil will preach from the top of the South Car Canopy! 
  • FM Radio Reception - We have a FM radio transmitter to reach your car radio in our parking lot. Tune in to 107.3 FM to listen to the worship and word.
  • New Preaching Response Options - We need some fun in these tough times, so: (1) instead of "Amen" flash your brights; (2) if you're getting blessed use your windshield washer; and (3) instead of: "preach it pastor" honk & flash your lights!
  • Praise & Worship - with Dawn Waage & the Lakeside Praise Team.
  • Weather - The Drive-In service will go forward rain or shine, unless it's hard driving rain/stormy conditions, if cancelled, we will notify on social media asap.
  • The Main Restrooms (by the Main Worship Center) will be available for the Drive-In Service. People should use only the West Entrance (not the South) and practice social distancing.
  • Please stay in your car unless you need to use our restrooms. We need to be respectful and compliant with the Safe Social Distancing order.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE FOR THE ELDERLY & NEEDY
Chuck Rockwell our Outreach Director is coordinating this ministry of staying in touch with our Lakeside Elderly to address their needs when family members cannot. This ministry focuses on buying and delivering basic necessities / groceries for our Elderly who are unable or afraid to shop. We are first focusing on our Congregational needs, but Chuck’s Care Team also reaches out to needy families in our Community.

Kids Summer Series!

The story of Moses is one that has captured the imagination of so many believers, young and old, for thousands of years. Moses was an ordinary baby, born to a Hebrew slave woman in Egypt. This ordinary boy lived an extraordinary life, however.

Moses went from being a baby in a basket to being a prince in the house of Pharaoh. It wasn’t long before he took things into his own hands and killed an Egyptian for mistreating a Hebrew slave. That put Moses on the run in the wilderness. When God appeared to Moses and explained His plan, Moses reluctantly accepted.

From that point on, history would never be the same. Miracles, signs, wonders, plagues, and more would follow the life of this “ordinary” hero, Moses. He would go on to become one of the most influential leaders of the Old Testament. 

In this series, the children will get a front row seat for the majority of Moses’ life. They will see how God’s plan unfolded for Moses: the “Ordinary Hero.” In doing so, they will begin to see how God can use ordinary people (like them) to do extraordinary things.

Lakeside's In-Person Youth Services are back! Wednesdays at 7pm!Led by Student Ministries Director Jordan Waage, this is a dynamic service for youth and young adults featuring powerful praise and a youth oriented word in Lakeside's new Youth Center.
