2020 SUMMER CAMPS are happening!

Yes, we are still offering Sports, Arts and Recreation partial-day camps, as well as full-day camps this summer. Hundreds of happy kids have already safely enjoyed the first few weeks, and there are still four weeks of camp remaining in July and August. It's easy to
register online!
For the last two weeks in July, the following camps still have some spaces remaining. Don't delay, though, these spaces won't last:

Summer Sports Camps News: Golf is back!
Just added to our summer lineup, registration is now open for two weeks of golf camp: July 20-24 and August 3-7. Give your junior golfer the opportunity to learn the fundamentals from PGA professionals with Spencer Golf Academy at NorthStone Country Club. Campers must bring their own clubs.

Tai Chi classes are returning! Thursdays, starting August 6 for seven weeks, outdoors at Legion Park to allow for plenty of shade and social distancing! Beginner session at 9 a.m., intermediate session at 10:15 a.m.
$40 residents, $55 non-residents
We hope to bring back additional adult fitness classes in August, so stay tuned for updates!

Great news: A limited number of adult arts education classes are scheduled to return to the arts center the week of August 17, with registration starting in early August. Select programs will be available with reduced class sizes and other modifications in accordance with state and local guidelines. More information will be available online as plans are finalized.

Town of Cornelius parks and greenways are open and we are now accepting facility reservation requests for fields, shelters, tennis courts, and track from the general public for select dates through August 31. Of course, park users must observe at least six feet of physical distancing and, when that's not possible,
wear a mask
!
Our restrooms are open, too, though only one person is allowed in each restroom at a time, and only one stall will be open. Don't forget to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds!
