Grow It Eat It Summer Meeting

All are welcome at the upcoming GIEI Summer Meeting July 28th 9am-12:45pm on Zoom! The meeting will include presentations from online teaching pioneers in the MG program, a live Garden of Weedin' demo with Joyce Browning, fruit & vegetable updates with Jon Traunfeld, and more! We are collecting our MGs favorite summer recipes, so share your tried and true dishes with us! We will compile and share recipes sent to us at the meeting.

Fall 2020 UME MG Online Basic Training

September 22- November 19 | Every Tues 9am-12pm & Thurs 6pm-9pm Do you know someone interested in becoming a Master Gardener? We are piloting a new online training with participants from multiple counties! The training costs $175 and includes the University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener Handbook. Presentations and course materials will be made available through the Moodle online classroom and in Zoom. Some course material will be presented live by University and Extension experts, and some will be presented in interactive online modules that participants can explore on their own time.

Agriculture Careers & Entrepreneurship Virtual Center

We're happy to announce the College of AGNR's new Agricultural Careers and Entrepreneurship (ACE) Virtual Center! The ACE Virtual Center provides helpful resources, training, and opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career to further advance agricultural systems across Maryland. Resources are available for K-12 students, prospective UMD students, current AGNR students, and aspiring farmers in Maryland.
