Thank you for making the Chair Affair a success!
We want to extend a big thank you to all the Chair Affair artists, who donated their time and creative talents, and to all those who bid on chairs! Because of you, the Chair Affair was a success, and will help the children's area become a brighter spot for our youngest library visitors!

All Chair Affair winners have now been contacted by phone. Congratulations to Young Stars Daycare LLC on winning Flavor of the Day!

We anticipate making at least $2,940 on the chairs based on bids.

  • We received $805 on the auction of the cow (Thank you, Young Stars Daycare LLC!).

  • We also received an anonymous $2,500 donation.

  • We can add in the $823.01 from the Piggly Wiggly roundup.
  • Plus, most heartwarming of all, we received a $60 donation from a children’s lemonade stand.

When we add everything together, we should have at least $7,628.01 to use for our children’s area update!!

The library board and staff cannot thank the community enough for pulling together to make this happen. All our artists, bidders, donors and volunteers—thank you so much!!
