THE WEATHERBY AWARD from The Weatherby Foundation: Sometimes called the Oscar for hunters, this once a year award recognizes outstanding support of wildlife conservation, lifetime hunting achievement, and dedication to the principles of ethical sport hunting.

THE PANTHEON AWARD from Grand Slam Club/Ovis in cooperation with Safari Club International: Awarded to anyone who
achieves all of the following: a Grand Slam of North American Wild Sheep (Ed has 3), an Ovis Super 30 (Ed has the Super 40 including 58 total wild mountain sheep), a Capra Super 30 (Ed has taken 37 wild mountain goats), all 29 North American big game animals recognized by GSC/O, and the World Hunting and Conservation Award from SCI (the highest accomplishment in SCI's World Hunting Awards program).

THE CONKLIN AWARD from The Conklin Foundation: Sometimes called "The Tough Guy Award," the Conklin is awarded once per year to an active hunter who pursues game in the most difficult terrain and conditions while abiding by the highest standards of ethics and fair chase.
