Enjoy Live Music Under the Stars at Brooksville's 'Musicade'

Harkening back to a popular event held in the 1960s, Brooksville’s newest summer event combines live entertainment and small-town charm in an evening of music and fun along historic Main Street. On July 14, 2022, from 4-8pm, stroll through downtown while sipping wine and tasting appetizers at local businesses while listening to the talents of a variety of musicians. The live entertainment includes an eclectic mix of musical talent, from show tunes and gospel to classical and jazz, as well as country, pop hits and more.

The ticketed event will include seven historic locations offering drinks and appetizers, 10 unique musical acts and a commemorative souvenir cup for guests to take home.

Scalloping Season Begins on Florida's Adventure Coast!

Summertime on Florida’s Adventure Coast, Brooksville-Weeki Wachee means Scallop Diving Season! Scalloping is fun, easy, and requires little in the way of gear or expertise; just one reason it’s such a popular adventure! Slipping into the warm Gulf of Mexico waters and catching the first sight of those shells shimmering beneath the surface brings a surge of joy unlike any other. The eagerness of discovery and the fun of catching them as they zig zag through the clear water is enough to bring a smile, whatever your age. Scalloping Season runs from July 1 - September 24.
