Action Items

Online public comments submitted on Policy IKBB- Divisive Concepts Complaint Resolution Process, initially presented to the Board in June, were discussed at the July 19th Board Meeting. Clarity was provided on the details of the policy.

Policy IKBB - Divisive Concepts Complaint Resolution Process was approved by the Board to be implemented in the 22-23 school year. This new policy is in response to the requirement set at the recent state legislative session.

The Forsyth County Board of Education is the governing body of Forsyth County Schools. The primary role of the Board is the legislation of the school district policies, which are executed under the direction of the school superintendent. The Board consists of five members who are elected by district to staggered, four-year terms. They meet monthly at the Forsyth County Board of Education and Professional Development Center
