City Theatrical is expanding its line of QolorFLEX LED Tapes with a new! QolorFLEX® 5-in-1 HiQ High CRI LED Tape, which brings its best-selling QolorFLEX 5-in-1 and HiQ High CRI LED Tape for film and video technologies together in a single LED Tape. QolorFLEX 5-in-1 HiQ High CRI LED Tape is an interior grade 5-in-1 24V LED Tape with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) greater than 95 and is 25% brighter than other 5-in-1 LED tapes, making it an ideal high CRI LED tape for the camera demands of film and video projects, while providing lighting professionals with ultimate color control.

When lighting designer Neil Bestwick was looking to create a permanent installation for two adjacent web studios which were only 20 feet apart within an active R&D facility, he knew he needed reliable gear to broadcast wireless DMX without interference from one studio to the other, with the option of using the 900MHz band to reduce interference from Wi-Fi traffic on the 2.4GHz band going forward. He used City Theatrical's Multiverse® Studio Kit 900MHz/2.4GHz to achieve this goal, which included all the tools he needed for a successful long term wireless DMX broadcast as well as useful tools like the RadioScan® Spectrum Analyzer for broadcast planning and DMXcat® Multi Function Test Tool for troubleshooting. The newest addition to the line of QolorFLEX LED Tape Accessories is the Aluminum Extrusion, 45°, 2m (P/N 6693) which provides lighting professionals with more flexibility in LED tape installations, such that they can easy mount and direct the light from LED tape at a 45-degree angle. This new Aluminum Extrusion, 45°, 2m is ideal for cove lighting, wall washes, and foot lighting.
