Because this is such a vital and growing need throughout the region, MCEDD has extended the collection period for our regional Broadband Speed Survey through the month of August.
Your answers on the survey will help us to clearly identify the existing gaps in high-speed Internet service and will provide the accurate service information needed to pursue funding to increase broadband access for everyone throughout the region. Read more on our website. Contact Natasha Blaircobb with any questions.

An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for the Columbia River Gorge, along with other areas of the Northwest, with temperatures expected to be upwards of 105 degrees.
Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
Is your workforce informed and protected? To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
